How do you install an electric heating radiant tube?
1. The rigid supports at both ends of the electric radiation tube must not be fixed, to prevent the radiation tube from being crushed due to adverse external forces from mechanical equipment. 2. The porcelain sockets at both ends of the electric radiation tube should be matched as flexibly as possible with the corresponding parts of the mechanical equipment; the radial and circumferential clearances should be no less than 1–3 mm. If a ductile clamping method is used, it is also necessary to ensure that there is sufficient thermal expansion space between the tube body and the rigid support.

The Influence of Carbon Content on the Microstructure of Reaction-Sintered Silicon Carbide
The carbon content varies among the fracture surfaces of the sintered specimens. Within the range of a-2.5 wt.%, a dense material with virtually no porosity is formed, consisting of uniformly distributed silicon carbide particles and free silicon. As the carbon addition increases, the content of reaction-sintered silicon carbide gradually rises, the particle size of silicon carbide grows larger, and the silicon carbide particles become interconnected in a skeletal structure.

In mechanical seals, reaction-sintered silicon carbide sealing rings are widely used, typically manufactured using the SiC+C+Si process. Having worked in this field—engaged in both technical and production roles—for many years, I often encounter questions from colleagues and engage in discussions with them. Since, during operation, the contact surfaces of mechanical sealing rings are in a semi-dry grinding state, the friction surfaces of the sealing rings must possess excellent self-lubricating properties—a feature that the SiC+C+Si process does not inherently provide.

Industry Development Status of Normal-Pressure Sintered Silicon Carbide
As a new type of inorganic nonmetallic material, atmospheric-pressure-sintered silicon carbide ceramic products have been widely used in fields such as kilns, desulfurization and environmental protection, chemical industry, iron and steel, and aerospace. However, the application of these atmospheric-pressure-sintered silicon carbide ceramics is still at a relatively basic stage, and many potential application areas remain largely untapped, presenting a huge market opportunity.

Applications of Normal-Pressure Sintered Silicon Carbide Ceramics
Pressureless sintered silicon carbide is one of the most widely used materials in structural ceramics. Thanks to its relatively low thermal expansion, high specific strength, high thermal conductivity and hardness, as well as excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and importantly, its ability to maintain good performance even at high temperatures up to 1650°C, silicon carbide ceramics have found extensive applications across various fields.

Silicon Carbide Cylinder Manufacturer: Research Progress on Silicon Carbide Precursors
Silicon carbide cylinder manufacturers: Silicon carbide ceramics exhibit excellent comprehensive properties, including high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, radiation resistance, high strength, high hardness, and low thermal expansion, playing a vital role in the field of energy security. Currently, the forming of ceramic materials—including SiC ceramics—is mainly carried out using conventional powder-based methods, which involve processes ranging from the preparation of fine powders to shaping (including rolling, extrusion, dry pressing, isostatic pressing, casting, and injection molding).

Silicon Carbide Cylinder Manufacturer: An Introduction to Silicon Carbide Technology
Silicon Carbide Cylinder Manufacturers: Silicon carbide abrasives typically use quartz and petroleum coke as primary raw materials. During the material preparation process, these raw materials are ground to appropriate particle sizes and then mixed according to chemical calculations to form the furnace charge. To adjust the permeability of the abrasive furnace charge, an appropriate amount of sawdust is added during batching. When manufacturing green silicon carbide, an appropriate amount of salt should be added to the furnace charge.
