Fangzi District Holds the Inaugural Meeting of the Silicon Carbide Industry Alliance.

On July 7, Fangzi District held the inaugural meeting of the Silicon Carbide Industry Alliance. Attending the meeting were Li Lianghua, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor; Zhong Min, Member of the District Committee Standing Committee and Deputy District Mayor; key officials from relevant departments and units; and heads of silicon carbide enterprises.
The meeting elected the first-term chairman, vice-chairman, and secretary-general of the alliance. The “Articles of Association of the Fangzi District Silicon Carbide Industry Alliance” were unanimously approved. Li Lianghua, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor, and Zhong Min, Member of the District Committee Standing Committee and Deputy District Mayor, unveiled the plaque for the Silicon Carbide Industry Alliance.
District Chief Li Lianghua emphasized that the establishment of the Fangzi District Silicon Carbide Industry Alliance is both a proactive move to foster cooperation among enterprises and a strategic choice for promoting high-quality development of the silicon carbide industry. He expressed hope that, after its formation, the alliance will fully play its role as a bridge and link, effectively performing its functions of service, coordination, and rights protection, and efficiently integrating resources from various sectors to provide enterprises with information, technological, and consulting services, thus creating a development pattern characterized by resource sharing, complementary advantages, and win-win cooperation. The District Party Committee and District Government will always uphold the principles of being business-friendly, ensuring business stability, protecting businesses, and benefiting businesses, further strengthening targeted services, continuously optimizing the policy environment, financing environment, and administrative environment, and making every effort to support the silicon carbide enterprises in Fangzi District to grow stronger and bigger.
The establishment of the Silicon Carbide Industry Alliance in Fangzi District will further enhance the development of our district’s silicon carbide industrial chain, promote cluster-based growth and strengthening of the industry, strengthen resource integration and mutually beneficial collaboration among silicon carbide enterprises, and build an industrial ecosystem characterized by close coordination across the upstream and downstream sectors as well as among large, medium, and small enterprises. The Alliance will actively guide its member enterprises to focus on the development of strategic emerging industries and the urgent needs of major technological equipment, proactively explore new application areas for their products, further improve the industrialization and scaling-up of their products, and drive the silicon carbide industry toward higher-end, smarter, and greener development.
